AML and KYC Policy
Edition of November 5, 2026
KOZYR does not allow the Service to be used for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or fraud. This policy describes how we check players and transactions. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
01Principles
- We apply a risk-based approach: the higher the risk of a transaction or player, the deeper the check.
- We know our customers (KYC) and may ask you to verify your identity and source of funds at any time.
- We monitor transactions and report suspicious ones to the competent authorities where the law requires it.
- We keep records of players and transactions for at least 5 years after an account is closed.
02When we run a check
An identity check may be required if:
- your total withdrawals, all-time or over a short period, exceed the thresholds set by our internal policy;
- you try to withdraw funds with little or no play after a deposit;
- deposits come from several wallets or from third-party wallets;
- there are signs that one person holds several accounts;
- a wallet is linked to mixers, darknet markets, hacks, fraud or sanctions;
- you are located in a high-risk country or use tools to bypass geo-blocking;
- the law, a regulator or a payment partner requires it.
We are not obliged to explain why we requested a check.
03What we may ask for
- an identity document: passport, ID card or driving licence;
- a selfie with the document or a video check;
- proof of address no older than 3 months: a bank statement or utility bill;
- proof of ownership of a crypto wallet;
- information on the source of funds: proof of income, an exchange statement, a sale agreement and the like.
Documents must be legible, valid and unaltered. We may verify them through third-party verification services.
04Sanctions and prohibited persons
We do not serve persons on the sanctions lists of the UN, EU, US (OFAC) or UK, persons from countries under comprehensive sanctions, or anyone acting on their behalf. Politically exposed persons and their close associates may use the Service only after enhanced due diligence.
05Transaction monitoring
We check deposits, withdrawals and gaming activity both automatically and manually. Every withdrawal is reviewed by a staff member. The signals we look at include play volume that does not match deposits, circular transfers between players through PvP games, structuring of amounts and frequent wallet changes.
06What happens on suspicion
We may:
- suspend the account, deposits and withdrawals until the check is complete;
- decline a transaction or return a deposit to its source wallet;
- freeze funds when the law or a competent authority requires it;
- close the account;
- report a suspicious transaction to the competent authorities.
By law, we may not be able to tell you that we have reported a suspicious transaction.
07Your obligations
You undertake to use only your own lawfully obtained funds, not to deposit on behalf of third parties, to provide accurate information and to tell us when it changes.
08Compliance officer
A designated officer of the Operator oversees compliance with this policy. Questions about it go to [email protected].
